Ms Meena Matharu, BSc MRCPodS FRCPodS POMS ACP IP SP is a medical professional (Podiatrist and Podiatric Surgeon) who has over 20 years post graduate experience within the fields of dermatology surgery and local anaesthesia. Her clinical area of interest is in the field of injectable therapy and nerve blocks.
She is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner and an Independent Prescriber having completed extensive level 7 (Master’s level) post graduate training at City University. Thereafter, she trained in Harley St within the field of Aesthetic Medicine and is a qualified and insured Medical Aesthetic Practitioner.

Aesthetic Medicine is a field of medicine that focuses on altering the cosmetic appearance of the skins’ ageing process. By the age of 25 the first signs of aging become apparent on the surface of the skin (Epidermis).
Thereafter, 1 % of collagen is lost every year. By 50 we have lost 50% of collagen. Fine lines and eventually wrinkles appear as the loss of volume and elasticity become more noticeable. Changes in our environment, our hectic lifestyles, and the alterations in hormones (particularly in women) coupled with genetics all have a part to play.
